Barksdale House Inn Charleston

The venue was cute, I loved the stay and the location was peaceful short walk to two main streets and restaurants and historic Charleston. Got huge room with adequate private bath. Hotel's reception was very friendly with best personnel. The service was exceptional, I had 2 wonderful nights here.

My stay was great value for money. Affordable hotel with exceptional view. A wide range of food at breakfast, such as cheese and hot waffles. Smooth check-in and thoughtful service.

It was a fine stay, peaceful place. The breakfast had variety of options: fresh fruit, fresh bread, pastries, muffins and cookies. Every detail, the service was great and the staff was willing to help.

I liked the place, everything was excellent. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable beds, the staff were welcoming. Central location of this boutique style hotel was a bonus.

I appreciated that the room was relaxing and cheap. The poolside bar was superb and the drinks were refreshing. It was outstanding experience, the hotel had clean pool, good parking and incredible views.

It was a such wonderful time staying at this cheap hotel. Exceptional food in the beach restaurant was the best part: D

Easy location, brand new room, very attentive staff. They care about safety, have smoke detectors in the rooms.

The bathrooms are tiny.

Everything was beautiful, really wonderful breakfast. The room I had was luxurious and soundproof. The pool was nice, the staff here was customer-facing. Superb service during my lovely stay.

Overall I loved that well maintained hotel. The beds were quiet and the room was inviting and overall good. An absolutely perfect continental breakfast was a plus. The venue was in a super location, within a walking distance of stores and a market. The service was top notch during all my delightful stay.

Extremely friendly staff, STUNNING location, great value for money.

The bnb was nice and very clean everywhere. We greatly enjoyed the bed, which was lovely. Next to the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. Plus, we were 25 mins by foot from rainbow row.

The rooms were large and the location was great. We were recommended a restaurant. Also, free Wi Fi was provided.

Free parking and fantastic breakfast. For evening meal I visited Co Restaurant, since it was very close to the hotel.

Beds were not good.

There was a good restaurant in the hotel. Every place we wanted to visit including charleston city market was within a walking distance of this property.

The breakfast they offered was fantastic! Stay there and enjoy your Charleston city trip. In love with barksdale house inn.
